Good Morning, Muses!
August is finally here and with it comes sweltering heat! But no worries! There are plenty of releases this week that will keep you entertained. Need a couple of books to take with you to the beach? Or maybe you rather keep cool by staying in and get caught up on some tv shows. Both are great ideas!
In Adult books, if you like hot, steamy romances than you may want to check out Lora Leigh's Stygian's Honor, book 27 in her popular Breed series. They don't have to be read in order, although I definitely recommend catching up on the series if you like your male heroes alpha. If you are looking for something new, check out Julie Ann Walker's Hell on Wheels, book 1 in the Black Knights Inc. series. I just finished reading it and hope to have my review posted by next Tuesday.
In Young Adult, James Patterson's Maximum Ride series comes to an end with Nevermore, book 8. I personally want to check out Glitch by Heather Anastasiu.
In Movies, Bob Marley fans get an intimate look at his life in the documentary simply called Marley. If you like history and learning about Aboriginal peoples, then you may want to check out Warriors of the Rainbow. If you are a fan of Twilight, then you are in luck because Robert Pattinson's (Edward) Bel Ami and Jackson Rathbone's (Jasper) Girlfriend finally make it to dvd.
Dr. Seuss's The Lorax is the only movie coming out this week in a Blu-ray-DVD Combo pack.
In TV Series, I highly recommend Grimm Season 1 and Strike Back Season 1 (Strike Back comes in a Blu-ray-DVD Combo pack). Both shows start back up later this month, so this is a perfect opportunity to get caught up.
