Beautiful Beginning (Beautiful Bastard, #3.5)
by: Christina Lauren
One beautiful bastard of a groom. The most beautiful bitch of a bride. A panty-ripping office hook-up turned true love everlasting.
Wedding bells can’t chime soon enough for Chloe Mills and Bennett Ryan. Chloe, exasperated and stressed by all the last-minute to-dos, is on the verge of saying “I do” to eloping. For his part, Bennett’s so worried about being distracted by Chloe’s body that he makes a no-sex-until-the-wedding-night rule that only seems to be making things worse by continually backfiring on him. As their crazy families descend for the big day- only a few of them actually trying to be helpful- the fiery lovers are about to test whether the couple that argues together can keep it together long enough to exchange rings, and not just heated words.

Curse Keepers, The
by: Denise Grover Swank
The wall between our world and that of vengeful spirits has protected humanity for more than 400 years. It’s about to come crashing down.
Ellie Lancaster has lived her whole life by the site of the mysterious Lost Colony of Roanoke, the Virginia settlement that vanished without a trace around 1590. Only the descendants of the two men who banished the spirits of an enemy tribe from the material realm know what really happened to the colony. Ellie is one of those descendants—a Curse Keeper. Her father took pains to teach her what he knew of the curse and the responsibilities of its guardians. He taught her that if the two Curse Keepers ever meet, the curse will be lifted, the gate will open, and the raging Native American spirits will be unleashed to seek their revenge.
Despite her father’s seriousness, Ellie has always taken the legend for a harmless fairy tale. Until she meets the darkly handsome, but downright infuriating, Collin Dailey and realizes everything she was told is true. For when they meet, it’s like the air is sucked from the room. Collin’s presence is electrifying… and it’s not just attraction Ellie feels, but the inexorable pull toward her destiny. The prophecy is real, and now Ellie and Collin must battle supernatural forces and their loathing—and passion—for each other to set things right.

I Ride: Story of America's Biker Culture
Directed by: Daron Ker
Starring: n/a (documentary)
Since the release of ''The Wild One'' in 1953, the world has been fascinated with the mythic culture of the American biker. Who are these people with the loud motorcycles, leather jackets, tattoos, and long beards? Where are they going as they roar through town in large packs? And what do they do when they arrive wherever they're going? ''I Ride'' is a documentary film that finally tells the true-to-life story of the biker community in America. When they were young in Sacramento, California, Harry and Tommy Fryed experienced a devastating family tragedy. Their response was to form The Fryed Brothers Band - a band devoted to what they love most: motorcycles and music.
Through the eyes and music of The Fryed Brothers Band, ''I Ride'' will take you on an illuminating road trip through the biker world: bare knuckle fights you actually sign up for, wild bar-b-ques and camp outs, and partying raw and rowdy at some of the biggest hard core biker festivals. This trip will wind up at Sturgis, South Dakota, for a Fryed Brother Band performance to end all performances. The Fryed Brothers Band? They're the best band you've probably never heard of. For 29 years they've been the exclusive 'house band' of America's Biker Movement. Every year The Fryed Brothers headline most of the preeminent biker events in America including the Easyriders Show in Sacramento, CA, Rip's Bad Ride in Irvine, CA, Ghost Mountain Riders Show in Salinas, CA, the Circle of Pride in Iowa, and most importantly, ''Sturgis Bike Week,'' the largest gathering of bikers in the world, which completely takes over the small town of Sturgis, South Dakota every August to celebrate this outlaw culture. The series’ focus is still on ordinary people, but they no longer accept their lack of influence on the institutions that have controlled the city. Diminished by grief and loss, but fed up with incompetence and graft among police and city officials, the characters in Treme begin to make inroads in demanding that their music, art and well-being be protected. Through a murder prosecution that unites several players, Treme will also explore the city’s handling of justice, schools and politics, while charting the inspiring, grassroots efforts to preserve the individuality of this most iconic of American cities.
